Returns and Exchanges

Hearth & Fir gladly accepts returns and exchanges for eligible products* within 30 days of delivery, provided they are initiated before December 20th of the same year.

Please note that returns or exchanges cannot be processed after December 20th, even if the item was delivered within the 30-day window. To qualify, returned items must be in transit back to our facility by December 20th.

While we offer free shipping on outgoing orders (with some exceptions), return shipping and handling fees apply. Larger trees and multi-box shipments may incur higher return fees.

Refund Policy

Hearth & Fir reserves the right to decline returns or exchanges that are not pre-approved or do not meet our eligibility criteria. Additional fees may apply for non-compliant returns.

Unauthorized returns—such as those sent outside the allowed timeframe, used or damaged items, or packages containing unrecognized materials—may result in a reduced or denied refund.

Refunds will have shipping and handling fees deducted and will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Once the returned item is received at our facility, refunds typically process within 7–14 business days, though it may take up to 30 business days depending on your bank.

To start a return or exchange, please contact us at mramirez7242@gmail.com with your order ID. Be sure to include your receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Store Credit

If the customer opts for store credit instead of a refund, the shipping and handling fee will be waived.

 

Returns for Defective Items

If a return is requested due to a reported defect, the customer must first complete our Troubleshooting/Warranty Claim process before initiating a return. If the item is confirmed to be defective, a Hearth & Fir representative may waive the return shipping and handling fee.

However, if the customer opts to skip the Troubleshooting/Warranty process, standard return shipping and handling fees will apply.

 

Exceptions/Exclusions

We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for items that are not in their original packaging—no exceptions.

Additionally, the following items are considered final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges:

  • "Open Box" and clearance items
  • Flocked Christmas trees
  • Best Deals items

This policy is strictly enforced, with no exceptions.
